University Park Phase I
Comments:
A privatized partnership was finalized between Academic Privatization, LLC and Allen O'Hara Education Services, LLC, Salisbury University, and the State of Maryland. Under the terms of the Agreement, Academic Privatization, LLC provides student residence facilities on the Salisbury University campus, the financing of which was accomplished through issuance of tax-exempt bonds. Proceeds from the bonds were used to finance the development, design, and construction of the project. The Class A project broke ground July 25, 1999 and was completed in August 2000 and consists of 576 beds in a seven building, 3-story garden apartment complex located on 12 acres on-campus. Adjacent to Phase I, the Phase II fast-track project broke ground in August of 2003 and was completed in May 2004.
