100 Midtown at 10th Street
Atlanta, Georgia
Academic Privatization secured title to its first off campus property for the benefit of students attending the Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia State University, Clark Atlanta University, Spelman College, Morehouse University, and SCAD as well as other metro Atlanta area accredited colleges. The private partnership was finalized between Academic Privatization, co-developing with AACRE Properties. Under the terms of the agreement, Academic Privatization and AACRE Properties provided student residence apartments contiguous to the GT campus and one block to the south of "Technology Square" utilizing financing accomplished through conventional sources.
This project is a fast-track; high-rise urban development required interim funding. The first phase renovated the existing building and was completed in August 2005.
